Engine Flush

Tru-Blu Engine Flush is manufactured from highly refined
paraffinic oils and selected detergent additives which quickly
remove contaminants from internal engine surfaces.

Application:

Tru-Blu Engine Flush may be used from 0.5 litre of Flush
per 5 litre capacity of engine oil up to 4 litres of Flush per
5 litre capacity of engine oil depending on how fast the
operator wishes to flush the engine and how dirty the
engine is. Make sure the engine is warm and that the sump
can hold the extra Flush capacity without being over full
after the Flush is added. Pour in the required amount and
idle or drive the car for the desired time and immediately
remove the sump oil and oil filter. Allow to drain until all
the fluid is removed. Replace the sump plug, fit a new oil filter
and fill the sump with new oil.

Treatment methods

A) Using 0.5 litre Flush per 5 litres of engine oil:

The car may be driven for a day or two if convenient (not more than 100 km) and then the sump oil can be removed at the operators convenience.
The engine may be run at a fast idled for at least an hour before removing the oil and oil filter. The longer the engine is idled using the Flush (up to two hours), the better the flushing job will be. Remove the oil and oil filter immediately after the engine is stopped (while it is still hot). Allow the sump to thoroughly drain and refill with new engine oil and fit a new oil filter.

The more Flush that is used, the quicker and more thorough the cleansing job will be.
B) Using the Flush at up to 4 litres of Flush per 5 litre sump of oil:

Make sure the engine is warm. Remove enough engine oil to make room in the sump for the Flush to be added. Add the Flush and run the engine at a fast idle for 10 to 45 minutes. Do not drive the car. Remove the oil and oil filter immediately Refill with new engine oil and fit a new oil filter.
